This month, I’m shining a light on Snookie’s Society—a fierce, no-kill rescue that’s been saving small breed dogs (under 25 lbs of pure love!) for nearly 20 years. These incredible volunteers swoop in where others look away—puppy mills, overcrowded shelters, even streets across the globe—and give these pups medical care, training, and the kind of TLC that changes lives.
​
What guts me (in the best way)? Their ZERO euthanasia policy. They believe every dog—no matter their past—deserves a perfect match. And get this: They’re named after Snookie, a cherry-eyed pup who became their soul-dog and mascot for 22.5 years. Talk about legacy!
